CRM Overview

The CRM is where you keep track of everyone who is interested in your business and everyone who already buys from you. It helps your team know who to talk to, when, and what to say next.

Your Assistant does a lot of the early work for you. When a visitor shares their contact details in a chat, they’re added to your CRM automatically. Your team takes it from there.

How it fits together

  1. A lead comes in. Someone shows interest, usually by chatting with your Assistant or reaching out on social media. They’re added to your Leads.
  2. You get in touch. You reach out, they reply, and you decide they’re a good fit. The Lead Pipeline shows how your leads are moving along.
  3. The lead becomes a contact. Once there’s a real relationship, you convert the lead into a contact.
  4. You work the deal. The contact moves through stages until the deal is won or lost. The Contact Pipeline shows where every relationship stands.
  5. Nobody is forgotten. Set a follow-up date on any lead or contact, and it appears in Follow-Ups when it’s time to get back to them.
  6. You see what it’s worth. Add an estimated value to your contacts, and the Revenue Pipeline shows how much money is in play and which deal to focus on first.

Want to adjust how Assistloft estimates your revenue or decides who needs attention first? You can do that in CRM Settings.

The CRM dashboard

Head to CRM → Dashboard for a quick look at everything in one place. It’s a good page to start your day on:

  • The big numbers: leads in your pipeline, qualified leads, won contacts, and your win rate
  • Today’s CRM focus: leads waiting for a first message, follow-ups due today, and overdue follow-ups
  • Follow-ups: the next few people you need to get back to
  • Lead pipeline and Contact pipeline: how many people are at each stage
  • Revenue opportunity: the value of your open deals and how many are close to closing
  • Team performance: how each person on your team is doing

Each section links to its page, where you can see the full details.

Who sees what

Account owners and admins see everything in the CRM. Teammates see the leads and contacts they’re responsible for. Owners and admins can also group teammates into teams that share their leads or contacts. You can read more about this on the Leads and Contacts pages.
